LikedGreat location. It's very nice to sit in the pool and look at the city from above. Great breakfast. There are many delicious Asian dishes, but there are also European ones.
DislikedI could not extend my stay at the hotel through the website; there was a ban on changing dates from the hotel 2 weeks before check-in. I wrote to the manager. They told me to change the dates on booking.com. Apparently, the managers themselves do not know under what conditions their hotel is booked on booking.com. And at the end of their letter they list awards for excellent service :). Of course, everything was resolved on the spot, but the sediment remained. The apartments are spacious, but somehow not thought out. For example, there was no outlet in any of the bathrooms!

DislikedThe breakfast if not sacrifice...my over stay of 5 days the breakfast is almost the same no changes...the mee goreng on the last day is salty n super dry...

I really enjoyed my weekend dining and staycation at Dorsett KL Bukit Bintang for my mom's birthday. We had our marvellous lunch at Checker's Cafe where we ordered set courses for 8 pax in advance and the manager, Ms. Joanna Leong and the staff prepared everything perfectly upon our arrival around 12pm+, from the courses, drinks and the birthday cake. The presentation of the dishes was great, and they taste just as delicious as they look. The chef also made our special request of cheesecake with Happy Birthday Mom on the plate and the staff all came out to happily sing Happy Birthday to my mom. We requested for early check-in at the hotel reception to our Two Bedroom Premier Suites Residences (just next to the hotel, no covered pathway) and they granted it. They even gave their signature cookies for my mom. The premier suite was spacious with a kitchen, washer, dryer, 6-seater dining table, sofa, smart TV, bathtub, nice view, balcony (Jalan Imbi view) and two bathrooms. Everything was in order and clean with modern look. Their in-room service was fast and receptive. In terms of breakfast buffet (6.30am-10.30am), the options were quite nice, there were nasi lemak, naan with dhal and curry, variety of breads, noodle soup, salad, fruits, sausage and pancake, cereal, cordial and hot tea/coffee. It was not as wide range as other 5-star hotels, but worth the price and the manager/staff were all really welcoming and helpful. The location is strategic, very close to Bukit Bintang and Pavillion areas, perhaps around 5-10 min walk. However it must be noted that the residences lobby was closed down due to renovation so it was not a good look. The parking at the hotel was quite narrow and there's RM10 fee per entry for guests. Overall, I would recommend dining and staying here for a big group, give their services were top notch and professional, with clean and spacious unit, reasonable prices and strategic location.
