Chorefto is a sun-drenched resort perched on the Pelion Peninsula. Gold-sand beaches and dazzling blue water give the resort a postcard-worthy feel. The beach is one of the longest on the peninsula and stretches for more than two kilometres. Sunbathe on the sand, collect shells and swim in the crystalline Aegean Sea.

Take a day trip to Zagоra, a traditional Greek village nestled in the mountains. Explore a maze of cobbled streets and squares framed by stone houses and centuries-old churches. The village cascades down a slope and boasts sweeping views over the surrounding mountains and Chorefto Beach. Cafes spill onto the streets and will tempt you with strong coffee and sugar-dusted Greek biscuits. Apples are a local delicacy and are best enjoyed plucked straight from the tree.
Getting there
Chorefto is on the eastern side of the Pelion Peninsula, a 1.5-hour drive from Volos and two hours from Larissa. The resort is compact and easy to get around on foot. Athens International Airport is a five-hour drive away.
