Getting around

Eastbourne is less than an hour from London Gatwick Airport and 20 minutes from Newhaven Ferry Port. Direct trains run from London Victoria, Ashford International, Brighton and Lewes. Eastbourne is best explored by foot, but buses and boats provide easy access to sights.
