About Enchanted Kingdom

The answer to Disneyland in the Philippines, the Enchanted Kingdom theme park has been bringing magic to families in the island nation since 1995. The park consists of seven themed zones with about 20 rides and attractions.

The different themed zones of the Enchanted Kingdom are varied, from the 19th-century-styled Victoria Park to the Amazonian Jungle Outpost. Boulderville resembles something out of The Flintstones while Midway Boardwalk draws inspiration from Coney Island. Its most popular rides include a nearly 40-metre Ferris wheel, the Wheel of Fate, and the Space Shuttle roller coaster. The park’s mascot is Eldar the Wizard, who prides “knowledge and integrity,” and all the park’s attractions are designed to serve educational values.

The Enchanted Kingdom is centrally located in Santa Rosa City, in the Laguna province. It is about a 30-minute drive from the city’s other main tourist attraction, the Cuartel de Santo Domingo. Santa Rosa City is less than 40 kilometres south of Manila, the country’s capital.

Since its inception, the Enchanted Kingdom has been a member of the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions. In fact, one of the park’s founders, Mario Mamon, has become the first Asian to head up the organisation.
