The epitome of bohemian Paris, the Latin Quarter is one of the city’s most vibrant neighbourhoods. For some of the best people watching in Paris, sipping on a café au lait at a terrace café is a fantastic way to spend an afternoon.

The Latin Quarter sits in the 5th and the 6th arrondissements of Paris and is easily accessible thanks to its central location and very own metro stop. Charles-De-Gaulle Airport is just a 40-minute subway ride away, with central attractions like the Eiffel Tower just 15 minutes to the west. Notre Dame is just across the Seine, with the stroll taking 10 minutes.

The Latin Quarter has always been a hub for students, and its academic roots run deep. It’s home to the magnificent La Sorbonne, one of Europe's oldest and most prestigious universities. Unsurprisingly, many of its scholars arrived to learn and immerse themselves in Latin. The quarter is also home to a string of historical monuments, including the impressive Pantheon.
