About North Charleston

Sprawling between the Cooper and Ashley rivers, North Charleston is one of the largest cities in South Carolina. It lies directly north of Charleston on land that was historically dominated by rice and indigo plantations. There are several interactive and hands-on exhibits to explore, including a fire pole, and the museum hosts theatrical experiences complete with live smoke.

The North Charleston Fire Museum is located alongside the Tanger Outlets Charleston, where you’ll find discount stores from some of your favourite brands.
