From North Redington Beach, you can walk for kilometres in either direction to Madeira Beach or Indian Shores.

North Redington Beach makes an excellent base for visiting the Seaside Seabird Sanctuary, a non-profit wildlife rehabilitation facility that plays an important role in rescuing sick and injured birds. Begin your visit at the Education Center to learn about their natural habitat before getting up close to eastern brown pelicans, oystercatchers and great blue herons. Panoramic views across the Gulf of Mexico can be enjoyed from the observation tower in the sanctuary’s Shade Garden.

Travelling with kids? Enjoy a round at Smugglers Cove Adventure Golf, a family-friendly miniature golf course in Madeira Beach. It winds its way between pirate ships, waterfalls and caves and is home to live alligators you can feed using cane fishing rods. Smugglers Cove Adventure Golf is just a stone’s throw from a waterfront memorial park overlooking the Intracoastal Waterway.
