History enthusiasts can explore Casa de Libertad, a museum that pays homage to when Bolivia declared its independence in 1825 with the original document on display. Don’t miss seeing the pink fairy-tale Glorieta Castle, which once housed a prince and princess. Admire its eclectic architecture with Dutch Renaissance, Byzantine and Italian influences, then step inside to see elaborately decorated ceilings.
