Discover more than 40,000 square metres of retail space at Gekas Ullared. The mall is one of the largest in Sweden and features a huge range of stores. Shopping isn’t the only activity on offer at Gekas Ullared, as kids can go wild in the adventure playground and tee off on the mini golf course.
A sandy beach and crystal-clear water make Musasjön one of the best swimming lakes in the region. The lake is framed by an evergreen forest and dotted with scenic picnic spots and barbecue areas. Stretch your legs on the short trail that loops around the lake.
Ullared is a launchpad to the Fegen area, where you can discover a patchwork of forests, lakes and farmland. Enjoy a scenic bike ride through the countryside and through sun-dappled coniferous forests. Rent a canoe and paddle around Lake Fegen and look for elk and deer grazing on the shoreline. Birders can spot osprey and loons.
Getting there
Ullared is easy to get around by car or bus. The town is a 1.5-hour drive from Gothenburg and five hours from Stockholm. Copenhagen Airport in Denmark is a three-hour drive away.
