Weissensee is a picturesque resort set on a glacier lake. The Gailtal Alps soar over the lake and create a dramatic backdrop. Strandbad Weissensee is the main swimming beach and features a grassy foreshore shaded by trees. Sunbathe on the wooden jetty, enjoy a picnic on the grass and swim in the lake. From the beach, you’ll get fantastic views of the surrounding mountains. Kayak and paddleboard rentals are a fun way to explore the shoreline.
