The Window of the World takes visitors around the globe, showing off replicas of some of the world's most iconic landmarks. Gaze up at the Great Pyramids of Giza, admire the Taj Mahal, take in the Eiffel Tower, then explore another 130 replicas that cover everywhere from London to Rome to Rio. Situated in the southern city of Shenzhen, this theme park has become one of the most popular visitor attractions in China.

The theme park is split into geographical regions. Europe is the largest and includes a whole section on Paris, with Notre Dame and the Arc de Triomphe rising high. There are Venetian canals, Pisa's leaning tower, Rome's Colosseum, windmills from Holland and the Acropolis of Athens. Sydney Opera House and a red replica of Uluru are among the attractions in Oceania, while the Africa region has a safari park and the Sphinx of Giza. It's also possible to see totem poles, Niagara Falls, Mount Rushmore and Angkor Wat.

It's the scale of the attractions that makes the Window of the World so famous. The Eiffel Tower is a one-third replica and is the first icon that's spotted when arriving at the park's entrance. The Window of the World Station is on the Shenzhen Metro, providing quick connections to the centre of Shenzhen. A monorail takes visitors around the park.

The replicas are packed very close to each other and can make for some fun photos. Stonehenge is next to Buckingham Palace, Moscow's Saint Basil Cathedral stands above typical Dutch tulip fields, while Disneyland can make a random appearance in a photo of historic North America.
