The check in is not smooth. Even though we arrived after 3pm the rooms were not ready yet.
I came to Bangkok many times but have ever come during water splashing festival. Although I know it is the Thai tradition to get wet, there were times I wanted to go to a decent restaurant to dine, people just water gunned at you and made you all wet which made me very unpleasant. Make no mistake about what I meant, I didn't mean to have any idea that go against the local tradition. Just my experience. All I can do is to avoid coming to Thailand during the water splashing Festival next time.
