Escape the city in Blue Hills Reservation, a 2,800-hectare state park studded with granite peaks. At almost 200 metres high, Great Blue Hill is the tallest in the chain. Visit the birthplace of “Founding Father” John Hancock in the neighbouring city of Quincy. Known as the City of Presidents, Quincy is home to several fascinating museums and historical sites. Getting around Braintree
Parts of Braintree are pedestrian-friendly and easy to get around on foot. The city is in Norfolk County, a one-hour drive from Downtown Boston and 20 minutes by train. Boston Logan International Airport is a one-hour drive away.
