Catch the fountain show at the Bellagio held multiple times each day, head off the Strip to the clubs along Fremont Street or watch one of the mesmerising Cirque du Soleil shows around town.

For something different, take a scenic 20-minute drive to Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area for a day of hiking under 900-metre-high red rock formations. Less than an hour away, you can visit the Hoover Dam and see the largest man-made lake, Lake Mead.

Getting Around

Shuttle buses and taxis are the most common transport to the Strip from McCarran International Airport, while limousines let travellers arrive in style. Perfect for a hot Nevada day, the Las Vegas Monorail offers air-conditioned resort-to-resort travel. When you’re on the Strip, you need only follow your feet or hop in a taxi to the next casino, bar, attraction or thrilling show.
