The 106-hectare Six Flags Magic Mountain is a popular Californian theme park with a world-record 19 roller coasters, along with numerous themed areas featuring water rides, restaurants, gift shops and live performance stages. Six Flags Magic Mountain also hosts a number of events, including family-friendly festivities during Christmas season.
Thrill seekers can get their adrenaline pumping along the loops and twists of BATMAN The Ride roller coaster, Dive Devil, LEX LUTHOR: Drop of Doom or SlingShot. Families will enjoy splashes and drops on the Jet Stream flume ride, while little kids can find adventure on Elmer’s Weather Balloons, Daffy’s Adventure Tours or Magic Flyer.
Catch one of the live shows, such as the Snowy Nights Show, which features games, DJs and dancers. There are also Looney Tunes and Justice League meet and greets, toy shops and clothing stores. Getting there
Six Flags Magic Mountain is about 15 minutes’ drive from the centre of Santa Clarita or about 35 minutes’ drive from Los Angeles. You can rent a car in either city or at Los Angeles International Airport, which is 45 minutes away.
