In the Cultural Quarter, you’ll find the aptly-named Curve Theatre and award-winning restaurants.

Explore Peak District National Park. Hugging the north-west corner of the East Midlands, Peak District National Park encompasses charming villages, centuries-old manor houses and undulating hills traversed by hiking trails. Visit the magnificent Elizabethan mansion of Hardwick Hall and the “Palace of the Peak”, Chatsworth House, then enjoy Pennines vistas while walking through Hope Valley. The Peak District is also home to Conkers, a family-friendly attraction with an enchanted forest play area and a treetop walkway.

Visit Warwick Castle. Overlooking the River Avon, Warwick Castle was originally established as a wooden fort by William the Conqueror in the 11th century. Join a guided tour to explore its opulently decorated staterooms and view the armoury on display in the Great Hall before strolling the gardens designed by “Capability” Brown. In the dungeons, costumed actors bring to life the 15th-century War of the Roses.
