Riyadh City lives up to its reputation as the cosmopolitan Saudi Arabian capital. It's studded with towering skyscrapers, including the Kingdom Centre. At 99 storeys high and over 300 metres tall it's one of the country's most impressive feats of architecture. It's topped by the Sky Bridge, a glass observation platform that offers sweeping views over the city.
From tigers to flamingos, the 22-hectare Riyadh National Zoo is home to more than 1,500 exotic animals. It's located in Malaz, a leafy district just outside the Riyadh city centre. You can also visit King Abdullah Park, an urban oasis filled with grassy lawns, date palms and dancing fountains.
