About North Tel Aviv

Encompassing the area north of Ben-Gurion Boulevard, North Tel Aviv is an upscale residential area of the Israeli capital. It’s home to outstanding museums and sprawling green spaces such as Hayarkon Park, as well as the campus of Tel Aviv University and the bustling business hub of Ramat Ha’Chayal.

In the Ramat Aviv neighbourhood of North Tel Aviv is the Eretz Israel Museum, which boasts an impressive collection of archaeological, anthropological and cultural artefacts. A highlight is the “Man and His Work” exhibit where you can see traditional handicrafts being demonstrated, together with grain grinding and bread making. The museum also encompasses the archaeological site of Tel Qasile and a planetarium.

Forming part of Tel Aviv University is the Museum of the Jewish People at Beit Hatfutsot, where you can learn about the Jewish experience over the last 4,000 years.
